Photography has little to do with the discussions on this board. What is pertinent here is the perenial game of one upsmanship over who's got the best gear and who can find flaws in another's photos with an electron miscroscope.
I get it now. Your needs from this hobby and mine differ. I've got the wildest machine that a retired IBM MCSE never could have imagined possible, but there will always be someone else with a better box and theoretical arguments against why my equipment deviates from the accepted norm that the gutless sheep subscribe to.
We're all doing just fine here. Let the flames begin! Just for General info, and to cut down on the PM traffic, Tarkus was the second general album release from Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. Anyone that didn't get that didn't need to ask the question.

I could never have made it to MCSE (and if I had I sure wouldn't have been inclined to be the Mac nut I am). And I'm darn sure your equipment is every bit as good as, and probably better than, mine. I only hope you don't let this site get to you personally, and that you have as much fun with your gear as I do.
BTW, do you have the original '71 album or the '93 re-master?

And from someone who knows that New Orleans is really one word with two-syllables; it doesn't get any better than that!
Who cares about who has the better equipment or who is smarter, I just care about learning (which I have and am still doing) and making friends. There are some great people on here that are very helpful and to them a great big "Thank you". To the ones that ask for help, Thank you as I learn even more that I didn't know to ask myself. Thank you, UHH, for being here.

Tarkus why don't you join the last thread you started on 1st where you tried to start a little drama.... (well at least finish one before you start another, it would be proper forum etiquette after all).

http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-49168-1.htmlCheck his listings, 2 out of 7 he actually commented. He starts a listing to stir up things and then he disappears.

What a great idea - I already have the best camera, the best tripod and the best printer. I don't have an electron microscope, though. Are they available at Best Buy?
Tarkus: are you a Troll or do you still get flashbacks from whatever you ingested/inhaled in the 60's/70's ?
Reason i ask is that i bothered to read up some of your earlier posts... you introduced yourself twice no?, you appeared to assume at random in another post that someone (a male) was hitting on you... weird or what?
have a nice day now
My equipment is better that yours But the real question is your advise any good.
I just can't understand why, with all of that great equipment you claim to have, you have not posted a single photo.

All great equipment as superior as they may be still need someone who knows how to operate them to produce a picture.

Who gives a rats behind who has the better equipment, to me it's all about the photo you display, if you like it, you win, remember its not the camera who sees the picture, its a tool to help you display what you see!!. Next problem
