I've learned a lot from him, but he's very controversial in that a number of well-known photographers have said he doesn't know what he's talking about. What did I learn? Good suggestions on programming the function buttons, reminder that I shouldn't let the Fuji get wet in the rain despite its supposed water resistance, that the Rokinon manual lens is a good lens (I got the 12mm and it's great), that my 18-135 zoom is a good lens, that there is an important difference in the batteries for the X-T1 and the X-T2, and so on.
