These raccoons are not pets; they are wild and free. I live in their woods and they stop by once in a while to ask for a handout. The first one is on the steps, watching my back door. The second one has her hands on the door. These are probably classed as snap-shots since they are made through double pane glass as opportunities arise. Still I would appreciate your critique. My camera is a Sony A100 with a Sigma 28-300 lens. These were shot at f /5.6; ISO 400; SS ? PP included cropping and a bit of light adjustment since both were made in late afternoon shade.
Could I please have a snack?
I know you are in there, I saw you move.
Those are so darling! Very nice!!
VERY well done!! These critters are usually not easy to capture!!

Thanks to all of you for your comments. How I wish I could get shots as sharp as Swamp Gator does. Shooting through windows and doors is a hinderance and yet few days go by without my clicking the shutter a few times. Raccoons know the glass is a barrier, and when the door opens, they give me lots of room.

Great captures, especially #2. Wish we still had some wildlife around here. Harley riders next door don't count.
