Oh man, I just got through gushing over your b&w in the other topic and now I see this delightful heron and kitten image. Super-cool!
I also love the last, crisply contrasting strong shapes and reflections. Appears slightly titled down to the right. Illusion from not shooting square to the shoreline? I've never figured out what to do about situations like that.

Good Afternoon Linda - Yes I don't always shoot square and could have corrected in "Photos" The Heron surprised me , flying up from the opposite side of the road ! Thankfully camera was in hand as I stepped out of the car and was able to focus ! The Maine Coon Cat was on a side road; I was able to get out and close to the ground to take a few photos ! Beautiful Kitty !

Very nice set, Heidi. That last scene looks familiar. Alton Bay? I know someone who took a photo of a duck that's similar to your GBH shot. She calls it "The conDUCKtor"
