I tried merging the 13 photos used in this composite with Lightroom and it refused to accept the task. I was, however, able to do so using a tool called "Autostitch". (The photos to be merged were in 2 rows above each other and 6 or 7 wide.) This is the Constellation Theater on the cruise ship Celebrity Constellation:

I continue to be awed by the ability of that software product.
This is excellent work and a great composite photograph of the Constellation Theatre.
You also have some interesting photographs on your Flicker pages.
A great panoramic.
Thank you, Leicaflex. I have begun trying Lightroom to make panoramas (didn't know how to before), but I still have the Autostitch product and do like it a lot. It does not care what order you give it the photos in--it figures that out for itself--and they don't even have to all be in the same aspect--it can merge portrait and landscape photos together, as long as "up" is the same in all of them. It can even handle small differences in magnification (but that is not recommended).
Yes, I'm sure that within the 41,000 pictures I've uploaded to Flickr there must be a few interesting ones. I have my favorites, of course. I'd be interested in knowing what Collections/Albums you viewed.

Beautiful! I like panos that are double-decker. Show that picture to a sailor from the 1500s.

It should be possible with Lightroom, it certainly would be with Photoshop. Though perhaps all Adobe software might be picky about mixing landscape and portrait images into a Pano. But as I recall I've done so at least once.
Excellent stitch, I will have to look into Autostitch.

That sounds like software I would like. I have struggled with combining photos in Photoshop. Aspect ratio; PSD and JPG, etc. Of course I can't erase the background in JPG but can't sent the photos in PSD. You did a great job with Autostitch.
What a fun project and very well done.

Sometimes you have to do two or three steps to get all of the pano together. Parts at a time and then merge the parts.
Here is one stitched from a landscape and a portrait photo:

It was post-processed using JASC Paint Shop (what I used before Lightroom) and I had to fake in some sky above the Baptistry, as well as do some perspective correction.
Beautiful panorama. Something I haven't yet tried. On my to-do list.
Unfortunately, I have not found a way to add image information into the space not originally occupied by at least one of the photos being merged within Lightroom. Paint Shop Pro would allow that action. I find that limitation troubling sometimes.
Beautiful image and stitching. Will have to check out Autostitch too.
I have posted a discussion of Autostitch in the Panorama section.
