Beautiful. Also a very good series of photographs. I tend to see a large hole in the water into which the owner pours money, and lots of it.

Funny you should say that Bob. When younger I would ask my father if we could get a boat for fishing he would say "Son a boat creates a large hole in the water that you pour money into", we never got one. He was in the marine industry and I somewhat followed in his footsteps. I owned a couple of boats, none of them wooden, but I learned what he said was very true.

Wow! Thanks so much for posting this beauty, Don! The Dolores Catherine is magnificent, and your images are excellent!! I too spotted that money hole in the last two shots but still wouldn't say no if someone offered me a boat like this one.

Glad you liked it Donna. I knew I had at least one boat from Alabama in my images somewhere. Was talking to the lady onboard and she described some engine and other problems they encounted heading over to the festival. She did not sound like a happy camper!!
