Bird ID, Delray Beach, Fl. (60 miles north of Miami).
I have lived in Delray Beach/Gulf Stream, Fl. for over 35 years and have never seen the attached birds (2) before. About two weeks ago I saw a flock of 15 or 20 in the bushes along a canal. My guess is a Summer Tanager but I am not at all confident. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a Spot-breasted Oriole to me.
Thanks for above two replies. I believe the problem is solved. The Spot-breasted Oriole was introduced to S. Fla. back in the 1940s. It is established here but not real common. I will keep my eye opened for more.
I didn't know the identity, but those are two beautiful downloads, Bob!
Thank you. Knowledge and cordiality of this group ceases to amaze me.
Oriole. We don't have them around here but I enjoy seeing them when I travel. One of Nature's true beauties.
I have no idea about the ID of these beautiful birds, but you captured them so well, pbcbob!
Thank you. Happy Veteran's Day.
