Looks yummy! Looks can be deceiving though. While in the Navy on one of my Western Pacific cruises, I forget where I was, but there was a treat I bought. Turned out not to be such a treat. It looked like it would taste sweet, but was anything but that. LOL. Live and learn. I took pride in myself while overseas of not being the "Ugly" American. I went off the beaten path and experienced the different lands, people, and their food. Cheers.

That's wonderful! No deception at this bakery. Sweets are sweet, but not over-sweet like some grocery store's bakeries are all sugar, and no flavor. I love their custard pies: just cream, eggs, vanilla and some sugar, but not too much.

Those doughnuts look great. As an ex cop I never met a doughnut I wouldn't eat. Great photos too.

I've only been on a few vacations including a Rhine River cruise on the Rhine River between Germany, France and we made stops along the way. One excursion on the Germany side, we got lost, and I had to use my "Instant German" or what ever the book was called, to get directions "How to get back to the river."

Do you have a circular polarizer on your lens? It would really make it easier to cut down on the reflections when shooting through a window (#1) or where there is reflective wrapping (#2 + 3) on your subject.

I have an Olympus E-PL1. I am going to buy a D850 someday somehow.

The filter size for your micro four thirds lens on the Olympus is 40.5 mm. See B&H Camera link:

When you have the circular polarizer will you drive back to the bakery for another shot at the doughnuts; photography shot I mean.

Could you get me a dozen chocolate glazed doughnuts while you are there? If you eat them with a quart of milk on the side I could enjoy them vicariously through your kindness.
