More sparrows from Yolo

The sparrows were just killer today. Beautiful critters. Just a few of many captures today.
Many photographers won't give the small passerines much attention, but they are as delicate as they are beautiful in their own way. The mottled pattern makes them a difficult target to locate, but the fun of discovering one and then capturing the pose is richly rewarding for me. It is a special challenge once you hone your skills on the easier subjects like herons and other waterfowl. Hope you enjoy these as much as I had in capturing them. Enjoy

Because of their mottling, they're difficult to isolate from their surroundings. You did a great job of focusing.

I love the sparrows too and can't wait for our first winter visitors to arrive. Beautiful shots of these wonderful little birds, David.

I enjoy capturing the wildlife doing something. I feel it adds something to the image. Makes it more of a story.
