Excellent work Don !!! Everything fits so well. From the bike, Johnny Lee to the Greenwood's. A place I would love to visit someday. I know how difficult it was to place Johhny on the bike, at least for me it would have been a task. Switching arms, legs, feet for proper placement looks perfect, or maybe just mirrored him. I love how you turned the so called Christmas lights on. The sign and additional light on the building is an added plus. Another concept you, Jim-Pops and Johhny should be proud of.

The more you study this edit that Dave did the more your realize how many elements he put into it. I keep seeing more touches he did to make this so good.

I just finished making a few more changes subtle below.

Little things like the light reflection onto his face from the bike's mirror adds realism to the composition. Gaylord likes it.

Beautiful. I was looking at both shots before I went to the composite to see if I could guess what you were going to come up with. You surprised me again, as per usual. Looks fantastic.

Thank you for the kind words, Erich!

Well, I certainly appreciate your "meaningful critique" ... I must say, I totally missed the fuel lines, even though I had been looking at them for a couple of days. Sometimes the extra set of eyes is helpful. I also worked on the extra shadowing as well as trying to better match the color for the entire scene. There were a number of other things that I didn't like as well: the sandwich board and it's shadow, for instance. It was just too bright and the shadow's color didn't match the scene. I also painted in extra leaves on both sides of the building, as well as the sky to create a better transition.

Your attention to the man's body shadows are certainly an improvement but the lighting and saturation of his right foot is distracting.

Also, I still am of the opinion that his skin tones are still too orange in toning.

I was going to mention the sandwich board but restrained myself fearing reprisal for being over critical, but as I see that you have independently noted and in part addressed the inconsistencies, I feel safer to add; that the foremost legs still appear to be floating above the ground; that the definition of the board's shadows do not match that of the motor cycle and that the writing on the board is far more sharp than the board itself.

P.S. I have no interest, nor the time, to engage in meaningless fawning, so encountering someone attempting genuinely creative and challenging work such as this, rather than just the usual experimental application of filters in order to make something novel from a grab shot, is heartening and causes me to respond with a view to assist.

So may I ask why you placed the words meaningful critique in quotation marks please?

Frankly, Lexy, I do these only for fun and I don’t put too much extra emphasis or time into it, especially since the original pic is not mine. I am usually working on another project when I stop to do this type of work. Which was the case with this. I am in the finishing throws of a digital painting of the World Series for a friend/client. That said, you made some good points that I agreed with ... some I disagree with, but they’re just opinions anyway, right? As I need to crack on with my World Series painting, I will not be revisiting this image anymore. Besides, I like it, and I’m the only one I need to please.

As for the quotations, I used them only because they were the words you used. I always say, “constructive criticism”.

I think it was nothing short of amazing in how you did this in such a short period of time - I appreciate it and have had quite a bit of fun looking at all the things you did to it! Keep sending these in!
