PSE multiple file process.

Good morning everyone.
Do any of you know of a simpler way to handle multiple files in PSE 15? I photograph events for our chapter of a national boating organization. I usually end up with about 60 edited jpeg files from my D810. I then use the file drop down and select processing multiple files. I send these full size files to a folder on my desktop. Now I have to reload the files back into PSE. I then repeat the process with the exception of resizing the files for sharing on the web. I sent these smaller files to another folder. You would think that Adobe would let you resize and still leave the original files loaded.
I hope I explained this clearly.
I did a search, but couldn't find any info about this subject. I know this is not a big deal, but if there is an easy fix it would save me a little time.
Thanks for looking.

Adobe made Lightroom for work flows like that!

I just starting using Lightroom a few weeks ago. I have been watching tutorials and I am still overwhelmed. I find myself falling back to PSE when I am under pressure to get the pictures available on line.

The way, as has already been stated, is a program called Lightroom. This program allows you to edit photos and provides a way for you to manage your photo folders, too, from within the program. There is no need for the "back and forth" thing in Lightroom. Your original will never be touched even after editing, all of the edits sort of float on the top of the file, so to speak without getting technical, and are only added when the file is printed or exported in some manner. You would need to purchase a monthly package from Adobe to use this program, but the cost is not much more than a couple of cups of coffee at today's prices and it is well worth the money; it will save you hours of time and effort once you learn the program. Luminar, from MacPhun/Skylum, has an editing program but the software will not include asset management capabilities until some point in 2018. Try a trial for both and see which one you like better. Luminar is a one-time purchase program, not a monthly fee program.

I recommend to you that you read the Lightroom manual, found at the top menu under Help. Especially read the section on the Library Module, which is where you use the asset management portion of the program. Don't give up, this is a wonderful program that will allow you to do almost anything you want with your photos easily and quickly. Every program has a learning curve. The manual will tell you a lot about the program and how it works, then you can follow up with other learning devices.

Duh, the person wants to use the programme that they know ie PSE

Try the postprocessing section.....more likely to get advice rather than 'I'm in love with Lucy'

Sorry I can't help.....I used PSE but never did any batch processing.

Were you responding to me? If so, Duh on your part for not being able to figure out how to click on the right box to show that. Perhaps the person asking the question does not realize the difference between programs and might gain insight from my answers. It could happen...

You obviously added nothing to the conversation so why bother being a smart#@$?

No, I was trying to get someone to answere the original question.......IN PSE as asked.
there were other posts jumping in suggesting LR....You were merely another sheep bleating on the same tangent.
So far no-one has helped the OP.

If I was a smartass....I would know the answere.....As I stated....I do not batch process, (because I do not take lots of images of the same thing). PSE is still used by a lot of members in the Post Processing Section - they may know how to help the OP

Happy now

Then I apologize to you even though you continue to need to insult people and to display a negative attitude.

When processing multiple files, uncheck the box "Same as source". This will keep the originals where they were in the first place.
Also, under File Naming, check Rename Files.
In fact, carefully look at each and every option in this Processing Multiple Files menu box, and you'll find that you can likely do just about everything you need to do with your photos.
If uncertain, put some photos together in a folder, either copies or photos that don't matter, and "practice" on those first.

I have used batch (multiple) processing many times. If I select/create a different folder for the processed photos, my originals are still preserved. Perhaps I am not completely understanding your inquiry? I do not import photos via PSE. I use Windows to import and create folders and use Photoshop CC, PSE, & LR for processing.

Good morning everyone.
I have had the Lightroom and Photoshop subscription for a couple of months. Just in time to experience the upgrade to the classic version. I have been using PSE since about version 5 I think. I am now on PSE 15. I admit that I am still floundering around in Lightroom. I am determined to make Lightroom my go to program.
Let me try and explain what I would call my work flow. I import the files from the camera card to a named folder on my desk top. In this folder, I have a folder for jpegs and a folder for the raw files. I name both of these folders. I load the jpeg files into PSE. I do a little cropping, exposure and other editing on the 50 or so files. I want to save these edited files in their own named folder on the desktop. I also need a folder of smaller files for the Yacht club to share on their site. Not knowing better, I use the process multiple files to send the files to the folder named edited version etc. I now need to select file new and bring the pictures back into PSE. Now I can use the process multiple files and resize the files. I sent these files to a folder named web etc.
I only use the raw files now and then. If I have a shot of an award being handed out and my bounce flash didn't work out etc. I move the finished folders I feel necessary to my hard drive.
I was only wondering if it was possible to skip having to reload the files to resize them.
Thank you everyone for your response.

Thank you Bill de. I went back and looked at the link you provided. I looked at it yesterday and did not grasp all the details. I just tried resizing a folder and it worked. A great feature to know. Thanks again.
I guess the answer to my original question is no. There isn't a way to save the edited files to one folder and the resized files to another folder, without reloading the edited files to PSE.
