1950 Studebaker Champion and the only Avanti in the Museum.
Stunning! Pinnin Farina made this never aging design.
Thank you for showing the top of car design.
The red one is a real beauty!
That is a hard to find museum, but worth it.
Good shots and, thank you, we are always looking for museums to visit in our travels; this one is now on the list.
If the car in the second photo was reintroduced now it would sell... big time

The molds were bought/sold several times and ended up in Mexico. You could buy a new one with a Ford V8 until about 15 years ago. I’ve never driven one but I’ve heard that the handling was not great.
I grew up in South Bend, Indiana and remember when it was common to see many models of Studebakers being driver. Father worked there and we always had a Studebaker until the plant closed down. Thanks for bringing back some memories.
Haven't seen a Studebaker in years. Nice Photos!
Great looking vehicle. Have always loved Studebakers. Mahalo for sharing.

Is the museum in South Bend?
I would like to visit.
Thanks

Isn't the Champagne colored car in the background and Avanti also? Sure looks like the rear of an Avanti to me...
Yes, it’s not far from the main business district, but it’s not on a Main Street. There’s lots more, including the original covered wagon, what various presidents had, some Notre Dame stuff, and miscellaneous interesting historical objects including some fascinating things from the original Native Americans who populated the area and did relatively well. The museum was a pleasant surprise. The carriage that took President Lincoln to Ford’s theatre is there.
