Very, very nice. I really like it.
Very nice. I really like the sky too.
I would like to be able to open it in download, though.

I am really having trouble uploading images on here consistently, I am doing something wrong?

It could be file size. You might try reducing the file size before uploading.

You are forgetting to check the "store original" box when you Add Attachment.
Also, with the muted colors of the sky, you might try darkening the dropped in moon by 1 stop or more. Make it blend in more rather than jump out.

Cool. I am assuming you have Lighroom? Apply a graduated filter to the sky down to the horizon and lower the temperature to the 3600k range. Will make it blue without that bronze color cast. Do the same at an angle for the hills on both sides and raise shadows to bring out hidden detail. Then apply a radial filter stretched to match the shape of the Milky Way and raise exposure like 1 - 1½ stops, plus adjust the highlights/shadows. It wlll allow the dust lanes in the MW to pop more and make the image more dramatic.
This all works only if you are shooting in RAW. With JPEG, you options are limited.
Karno, another beautiful set from you. I am not familiar with your comment, “Moon in camera overlay””; I love how it looks and was wondering if you would share what the comment refers to?

I appreciate what your trying to do but really not looking for that kind of advise, the Milky Way shot has a city behind it with light pollution and sometimes an image is more then a popping milk this is not about the Milky Way in the respect that it is much about the the light pollution and smoke from burning rice fields to create more of an industrialization portrait with the with the drama it creates, but seriously I appreciate your advise and see why you would think I need it, I uploaded a couple other night images for proof I know what your talking about.
The moon overlay has been darkened down as much as I could with out other problems occurring I may try and use the knew masking in Lightroom to darken the moon? good eye and thanks for your input.
