Glorybower's last gasp.
We have several volunteer glorybowers in our back yard. Normally this little tree is quite unspectacular, only just sending runners coming up in the lawn. But in the fall it blossums, hence the name "glory", and then it goes to seed. Here is the result, a small, perfectly round blue berry centerted in its bright red blossum. The birds don't eat them, so they stay for a long time.
Very unusual. Do you know if local florists sell them?
Steve, I think glorybowers are regarded by some as fallng into the weed category. They are all over the place but not cultivated. I don't think florest can get them reliably.

This is a new one on me. I've neither seen this before or even heard of it. A very interesting looking flower.
