As a long-time Pentax owner, I'm quite impressed with the reviews I've been reading about the KP. It just may be my next upgrade from the K3, since I can use it with ALL of my Pentax and Sigma lenses. It is certainly not a mass-market product, and it's certainly a level above the equivalently priced Nikons and Canons.

It is not a mass-market product, boy you're very funny (so Pentax is planning to sell just about a hundred of them)?

You bet it's funny. The way Pentax conducts is marketing, advertising, and product promotions in the U.S. is a joke and, as jokes go, it's funny (actually, it's very sad)! They may sell more than a hundred, but not all that much more. If I was making a purchase of a news C-sensor body, the KP would be my top choice.

The iso 819k shots while pretty much unusable are still impressive as heck.
