I've spent weeks traveling throughout France and Belgium visiting the many, many WW1 & WW2 cemeteries and battlefields and I have found that the French people as individuals most certainly appreciate what we sacrificed and accomplished in their defense.

It's known as Remembrance Day for the Commonwealth of Nations.

That's good to hear, but their politicians always seem to be crabbing about something we have done or not done, and if they do agree with us, it never seems to make the news on this side of the pond.
