I picked up my coffee cup at work one day and saw one sitting on the bottom with its legs stretched up the sides. I think I spoke a new language for a few moments

I don’t know it’s name but it made me change my plans to visit Williamsburg next year.

Go with anything bigger than a 16 gauge and aim well...sometimes they charge when wounded. Found one as big as my outstretched hand trapped in a bucket in my house once...I considered just burning the house down around it.

It's just a wolf spider, they are absolutely harmless!
