I would like to see a D850A, do you think this is a possibility in the future?

What would a D850A have?

Anything you would like to see in the camera, do you just like the letter A, or just want to start a conversation?

Are you aware of the D810A, amd it's upgrades?

A D850 would have a ISO that starts at ISO 200 and adjusted to cleaner high ISO, more sensitive to the red color of nebulas, the ability to shoot up to 900 seconds internally,
All combined with D850's tilt screen, illuminated buttons, and megapixel count would be a dream!

Oh ok,
Well the d810A is an incredible camera and is based around Astro.
Base ISO starts at 200 and adjusted for about 1 stop better high ISO
More sensitive to the red color of nebulas,
And the ability to take up to 900 seconds exposures in camera.
I might have started this thread in the wrong category.

Thank You!

Probably not the wrong category, but some of us needed at least a hint.

Interesting that you would ask about this so early, because there are some who may still be awaiting delivery of their new D850. The D810A is the first ever full frame camera dedicated to Astro-photography. Depending on the demand for such a camera in the future, will determine if there will be a Nikon D850A. I suspect there were not that many D810A's produced. I am not into Astro-photography, but I read an article about it earlier this year.

The first seems like a step backward. Not sure why you would want to raise the base iso. Nikon already has numerous models with a 200 base iso. And wouldn’t a tilt screen remove weather-proofing?

Good points!
The raising of the base ISO would be step backwards for day time photography but inables a better high ISO, it is a trade off, it makes for a better night scape camera.
Tilt screen is already a feature on the d850 and for nightscape quite essential, I have kinked my neck on a couple of occasions doing night scapes with the D810A.

Very interesting. I'd love a D850. I'm hoping to get one birthday-Christmas-Wedding Anniversary present... all events in the next 3 months. Our 20th wedding anniversary is February 14th, 1998.

Once you get this camera in hand it will inspire,
It is difficult to explain but it is how I have always wished a camera in its Essenes to be. I feel like digital has finally in 35mm reached my expectations.
