This Photoshop crap has got to stop! THERE IS NO WAY A HOWITZER FROM 1882 WAS EVER ON A CIVIL WAR BATTLE FEILD. Dam it troops quit posting fake news and fake history.

The Howitzer was supposedly coined as far back as the 1500s. Recent US history has further defined cannon, gun, mortar and howtizer for specific barrel-size, range, calibre etc.

In the case of the photo, I do relealize that the A10 Warthog tank hunter was a clear differentiator employed by the Union Army in the civil war. This photo I think shows an early revision.

Come on, fellas. Those warthogs really didn’t factor in, except at the battle of Philadelphia, where they essentially destroyed Beauregard’s III Panzer Division and broke the year-long siege.

Hi Architect1776: Agreed, but every joke needs a little thought applied to it. I was expressing my appreciation. I believe it was John Windham who wrote a story entitled "Chronoclasm".
