I learned in past years that autumn ground fog dissipates quickly once the sun rises. Using auto ISO works well since the light changes minute to minute. Shooting in raw provides more flexibility for creative interpretation of mood, exposure, colors and details vs. softness.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II (what a ridiculously complicated name!) m4/3 camera with 75-300 mm Olympus M.Zuiko lens.

Thanks for viewing!

My favorites in your lovely series are 1-lovely colors and mood and 4-with that heron perched up high in silhouette.

Nice shots. Love the mysterious shroud the fog casts over everything.

Thank you, Karin! There were 3 great blue herons on an irrigation cross bar at one point. This one, I confess, has been enlarged and turned a bit in pp. When I took the shot it was looking towards the back and you know how unattractive headless birds are

Very glad you enjoyed.

Great shots. They look like beef cattle since I don't see those utter things.

Thanks so much for taking a look. My favorite is when I'm at the edge of the foggy area and shooting towards the sun

Thanks very much! I thought I saw a youngster nursing, but I was paying more attention to light than udders
