Has anyone purchased the new Sony RX10 IV? I am in the process of letting go of my full frame equipment and downsizing. Years ago I had an RX10 when they first came out and I was very impressed. Thanks for your help.

Based on the positive reviews on this camera from the very first model, and the positive reviews from the uhh members. Just that alone would convince me to buy it, if I had the money for it. Not cheap, the last I priced it was $1700. It has a focal range of 600mm and it has a sharp Zeiss lens. It is the best Bridge camera on the market today. Without a doubt.

I’ve had me for some time and am very pleased with it. Images are very good and the IS is good when using the telephoto. Only problem, its almost as heavy as my old DSLR.

Yes, I agree that is why I am giving up my full frame camera and lenses.

Sony makes bridge cameras the way they are supposed to be made. Large sensor, 24-600 equiv. lens. Yes, they are as big and heavy as a entry level DSLR but you don't have to change lens and your not giving anything up in the way of image quality. The best all-in-one camera on the market, as long as you have a steady hand. That's why they cost as much as a mid-range DSLR.

Going to try one out next week. It would be nice to have in the truck . Not a replacement for my other gear just don’t like leaving it in the truck. It has great reviews. Adorama has a 2 month return policy when you are a vip360 member. I’ve have a Panasonic fz200 that I’ve had for 5 years or so and it’s getting a little old. I think you also get the Capture One program with it.(don’t hold me to that) Anyway it looks like a winner. It’s not cheap, but hopefully you get what you pay for or it goes back.
