You got a decent shot, the lighting in there is not meant for taking pictures and they say no monopods either.
There's a lot of history in that room from the very first Studebaker vehicle to the last car built.

Studebaker Avanti production ended in 1964. Interestingly the last car was not preserved. The last South Bend car was kept and is at the museum. The last Studebaker is a 1966 Cruiser sedan built in Hamilton, Ontario, it is also at the museum.

Thanks. One of my uncles had an Studebaker from about 1963. Not the Avanti.

Rights and tooling to manufacture the Avanti were procured by one of the old Dealerships, who made an Avanti II for many years after the original company went bankrupt.

Were there any covered wagons? That's the era That the company got started in.

There is a very god collection of wagons and buggies. Including the very first Studebaker built Conestoga wagon used by the brothers to move from Pennsylvania to Ohio and then to Indiana. There is a commemorative wagon built for the Worlds Fair and several Presidential carriages used by US Presidents. Even an electric car used in the US House tunnels in DC.
