I am at Jekyll Island, GA and am looking for areas around this for photograghing wildlife within a 75 mile drive. Any ideas?

Consider a trip to Kalispell Montana to the Triple D Game Ranch. Spent 3 days and it was amazing. I know it does not meet your driving criteria.I photographed a Tiger approx. 8 feet away, a Lion 10 feet away, etc.

You do not have to go far. Close to the bridge coming from the mainland is a no longer used outdoor auditorium. There is an unpaved parking lot in front of it. Walk around the structures, you'll come to a big pond surrounded by local foliage. The trees are full of egrets and herons. Ospreys fish in the pond, an opportunity to practice your "bird in flight" skills. Many species of Warblers when migrating. The water provides excellent opportunities to image turtles and Alligators on cool sunny days. Take a chair, tripod and a lunch...have fun.

I have been to Jekyll Island. I doubt that there is much wildlife on the island. However, if you like to shoot landscape head to Driftwood Beach in the early am and catch the myriad of driftwood and rocks (close focus) as the sun rises. Great opportunity.

https://tripledwildlife.com/landing/about-us/WTF? Why drive for three days to see "animal actors", who are trained to not eat the tourists?
The Oregon Zoo is only half as far and admission is only $5 on the second Tuesday each month. Real animals, not actors.

Set up a Sheppard's Crook and feeders, attach several branches for birds to perch on. Use specific feed for the birds in your area. They will come and you will have photo ops all year round without driving any where.
Its inexpensive and challenging. Done well the results can be very satisfying.
Thanks for the tips. Will try them.
