I drove through Oregon once on the way home from Washington as part of an East to Kentucky (home town), north to St Louis (Dad) then west/northwest to Friday Harbor Washington (wife wanted to see her sister-in-law) then back south to home. Never left the Interstate, I didn't even stop for gas in Oregon. I got a traffic ticket from one of Portland's suburbs for something I did not remember doing in the mail 2 weeks later. Too much hassle to fight it long distance, mailed the money. It seemed an awfully small amount compared to CA tickets. Could it be deliberate in hopes all the out-of-state people pay instead of fighting??? Can we say "money making speed/whatever trap"?

Now that you rewarded me. What you gonna do?

I have a resistant personality, not terminal stupidity. And in my case I said it "inclined" me to do the opposite. I am also fairly intelligent and think it over first or at least think about how to do it in a way that won't be a total disaster if it was the wrong thing to do.
