Hi everyone, I've been on UHH since early May and have been learning a lot from you guys. Up until yesterday I've been shooting film with some success.
I came upon a deal that I thought was pretty good. So now I have a new (to me) DSLR and a steep learning curve to go with it. Here it what I got for $650.00

At least you have a camera and equipment that allows a lot of creativity. I'm not saying you can't be creative with a point and shoot camera, just that the possibilities are greater with your equipment.
You have the stuff to get started now go out and try it. You will learn a lot from here as well.
