Thought I was immune but a 5D Mark IV caught my eye... boy is it sweet. Now half my lens are EF-S, might take some strong medication to subdue this GAS.

If you see some advantage but if the 5D IV works for you and you can afford it, Pass the gas and buy it. We only live once.

That's right, we only live once and we can pass the gas gas anytime.

What, pray tell, is your regular use of GAS mean? Some days it seems that all I see are a long series of codes rather than simple words. Naturally, since I began with an ordinary Box Camera 100 years ago, I don’t understand all this hi-tech language. What does GAS mean please?

Tums work! Calms my stomach down long enough to place an order! But still staying APS-C for other reasons.

I don’t have that problem. But surely the constant use of GAS by UHH pros must mean something else.

Keeping my APS-C, 70D, for now for those longer shots. Wanted the full frame for those low light situations where I can't use a flash... gym sports, Church, etc...

Thank you Haymaker. I’ve had the GAS too. But it was focused on my Woodworking tools. I’ve managed to control it with my photographic gear. I finally succumbed to a Carbon fiber tripod. Received it just a few days ago. It’s terrific. Indoors and outdoors. Keeping my Father’s tripod. Made out of wood with a Brass Head. He used it with his Kodak bellows cameras. Thanks for the translation.

If having money forces you to spend it, send the excess to someone who will do good with it, in U.S. ghettos or Puerto Rico, for example.
