Came across this herd today
On hwy. 395 couple miles North of Ukiah Oregon

Spent many a day hunting Ukiah area over the years. Town’s not much but great country. Heading to the Malhuer area to hunt later this week.

I only see one mature bull in this herd. I think there was one younger bull. But the large bull will have a tough time keeping all those cows in line....

What a lovely photograph. I love the spaciousness of the scene. The herd is huge. I've never seen one that large. Nicely done.
