Has anyone had any experience with movo gimbel tripod heads. The reviews I've seen were all over the place. Some members recommend Nest heads, which I have found but not on Amazon which is my preference vendor. Thanks in advance.
UHH member “MT Shooter” sells Nest gimbal products. In addition to being an excellent photographer, he owns a well-respected camera store in Billings, MT and is an authorized Nikon and Nest dealer (and more). You might want to contact him with any question regarding gimbals.
Thanks. I guess I can private message him ?
I bought a Movo GH 800 carbon on Amazon few months ago. I don't use it on daily basis, only from time to time. It works for me, my D5500 and Sigma 150-600 C just fine. It doesn't look like I put lot of weight on it at all, D5500 body is pretty light. The panning knob can be little touchy, but for the amount of dollars invested it doesn't bother me.
Thanks for your reply. I have people comenta that the J arm was not the 90 degree it should be and that the tripod hole was not machined very well. I'm leaning towards the nest gimbel at the moment.

From my point of view it does what it's intended for.
Go for US made if the price is right.
There was a thread on gimbal heads just a week ago that went on for several days.
Perhaps someone can tell us how to find a previous discussion.
Thanks. I did a search and came up blank. I did see one discussion recently about a nest head and that was it.

Try using the single keyword “Gimbal”.
I have a Wimberly 200 gimbal with accessories I am getting ready to sell. PM me if you are interested. It is in excellent condition.
Best,
Todd Ferguson
How much, can you post pictures please? Thank you.
I use a Movo gimbal loaded with a7D II with a 100-400 II for Birding and it works great.
