Took a side trip on my way home from San Diego CA thru So Pk Historical District. Pano is crop of photo. Snow is in the forecast later today, so I'll try for more pictures this weekend

Thanks I send a lot of time in So Park. Won't be long before USFS starts closing their roads for the winter. My family has history there, father grow up in Como CO and my Grandfather was shop foreman of the roundhouse for C&S railroad till they shut down in 1938 and pulled up the tracks back to Denver CO. This photo was taken from Boreas Pass road which is rail bed for the C&S, road runs between Como and Breckenridge CO.

Considering your families history I'd bet that you are excited about the restoration efforts in Como.

Thanks. I didn't find out about the restoration till after my brother was telling me about a family reunion we had there in Como several years ago. Then I haven't been able to get over to Como when its open. Maybe in the spring.
