Planning a trip to Monument Valley (2-day stay) 25-27 November. Does anyone know what the quality of sunrises and sunsets are generally during that time frame?
October is the best. Rain could be an issue in Nov. That is when California gets most of its rain moving west to east. Good luck.
I've been numerous times in November and on the plus side it's not so busy but it can get quite cold at night. Chances for precipitation is on the low side with highs in the 50's. In my opinion a great time to go!
You will need to ask God what he has planned for those dates.
Try this website:

I have been to Monument Valley many times in the summer and early spring months. So far as I know, the sun has risen and set EVERY November day in MV. I think that is also true for most of Maine. the OP would know for sure.
What does the rain in California have to do with Monument Valley? And I've lived in California since 1964 and our rainy season is primarily during January and February.
