I still recall shooting this. I was using a Nikon F, the original F, and I was marveling at how nicely it handled.

I sure hope she has a big enough envelope Super shot, I wish I had taken it. By the way, it would be nice when posting a picture if you could check the little box marked "Store original", then we would be able to see it full screen.

I hope the wind didn't come up before she was finished. It always amazed me how they can keep all those different characters in their memory. Perhaps it is no different than learning to spell? It was a nice catch and something I would imagine to be quite unusual.

The lens was a 50mm 1.4 from 1965. The formula is so good that Nikon still uses it for its 50mm 1.4s!

I have not seen any comparison tests between the old ais 50mm and the G fifty. Optically, they seem to be pretty close. Advantage old lens.... it has an aperture ring.
