While mowing the lawn, this tiny Cottontail Rabbit lay hidden in the grass. It managed to scoot away in time. Although it looks large in these pics, its smaller than a softball and its head is a bit smaller than the size of a golf ball. Judge the rabbit's size for yourself. The border blocks in the background of #8 protrude from the ground about 4-inches.
Pics were taken from ~12-ft. with a Canon 50D + 100-400 L lens at between 300 and 400 mm; Aperature Priority at f5.6; ISO 400. HH. PP in PSE-8.
#8 was part of the Photolink Slideshow on local TV:

#1 - The Cottontail emerged from hiding and began feeding on the clover.
#2 - Foraging on the clover in our lawn.
#3 - Munching on a Plantain leaf.
#4 - Probably catching my movement, it stops chewing and freezes in place.
#5 - Crouching, with ears wiggling, its constantly alert for danger. Dogs and cats lurk around our neighborhood.
#6 - It finds another tasty Plantain leaf.
#7 - Leaves from a nearby rose bush is on the menu.
#8 - Rose petals taste good, too.

It has taken up residence under my generator shed and comes out every evening to munch on the clover. It's not tame, but is tolerant of our coming and going.
Thanks for looking.
