Old country church, still in use! (B&W)

Located in the flat open farm country of Dark county Ohio ( Annie Oakley's birthplace and final resting place), I had a very lonesome isolated feeling while walking around the old church. I think the interesting sky added to that. While the color version was nice, the B&W seemed to add to that lonesome feeling I experienced.

Very nice photo. I didn't know she was from Ohio. She had quite a life. Some emotional pains too. Thanks for sharing.

Amazingly good photo, I can almost hear the quietness. Your B & W conversion is right on. This country church is one of those lucky ones. It's maintained and looks great. Loved your description of it and how your felt during the shoot. Great job my friend.

Thank you, yes, she was very special. I make it a point to visit her grave every year or so.

I was hoping you would catch this one, I know it is your type of shooting. I think churches are my favorite, especially old ones. I am always impressed with the dramatic change that Sepia, B&W, and color can do to an image. Take care my friend and be well!
