Miranda 800 Tripod Question

Hi guys a generous neighbour of mine recently gave me a Miranda 800 Tripod. The only problem with this is that the lever that you would hold to pan or tilt the tripod head is missing. My question is has anyone (preferably in the UK, but US and Canadian members input is equally valuable courtesy of Mail Order!!!) had any luck buying parts for Miranda Tripods and if so where from. A google search has proved fruitless.

From the other side of the pond. Maybe you could make one if you know the thread size and attach an old screw driver handle?. I did this once to my old TP.

That's a blinding idea, now that you've mentioned it it seems such a simple solution I actually chuckled to myself for not thinking of this. Thanks for the answer, you should consider submitting this to a photography magazines tips page it's gotta be worth a few bucks

I did a long long time ago no $$$. But you go ahead and make one for your Miranda 800 TP take a few pictures of it and display them to our friends at UHH.
