I've bee n retired for 20 years now. The aspect that bothered me the most was losing vacation and holidays! All gone. 😎😎😎

Hey... It's a cush job, but somebody's got to do it... Working in a hospital, I used to work a lot of holidays, but now I'm on what some might refer to as a permanent vacation... I consider being retired (almost 4 years now) either as finally having my dream job or as existing in a constant state of gainful unemployment...

Retirement on the pension: The hours are great, but the pay is lousy.

I'm retirement age myself but not as yet retired. Looking at some of these posts though it would seem this web site is mostly for us old farts!
