Here are a couple of shots of some of our fine feathered friends on South Padre Island. All shot with a Nikon D90 and a Sigma 150-500.
Thanks for sharing. South Padre Island is one of my favorite bird photography destinations, especially in April when "fall out" happens. Birds, which are migrating north and have just completed their journey across the Gulf of Mexico, are exhausted and very tolerant of photographers. It is nice to see that there are also lots of photographic opportunities at other times of the year.
