Good article. It explains the changes well.

I owe you $5. Many months ago I tried to bet you that there would be a Lightroom 7. You said there wouldn't and I said there would be. PM me with an address and I'll put it in the mail!

Jerry, thanks for sharing this article. I am glad I only installed the LR Classic CC, because it sounds like having the new LR CC interferes with how my images are handled. No way would I want to be working on DNG files and end up with inferior, low-resolution images. Plus, having both is more likely to introduce confusion due to the new naming and the differences between the two.

For now I will stick with LR Classic CC and PS CC. And I have a hard time understanding why Adobe believes their Cloud solutions/storage will be attractive/acceptable. For now, it is "wait and see" since we really do not know what Adobe will do next. As long as I have my original RAW images and the edited versions on my computer, not being shunted off to the Cloud, I am satisfied.
