What a fabulous trip. Two weeks through Switzerland on a guided coach tour and then down to Umbria and Tuscany for a further two weeks . Only problem was the driving . We drive on the left and they and you Americans drive on the right. I have driven in Hawaii on the right with no problems but its a bit different with the Italian drivers who's only speed is " as fast as I can go" and pretty impatient with foreign drivers !!!. Never mind we got through it and we had a ball and got safely back home to NZ.
Just caught it right
High up in Switzerland
Sunset in Tuscany
A fortress town Civita in Umbria

Love the bird and his berry; and that scenery is to die for! But glad you didn't have to die for it - thanks for sharing the beauty.
Delightful series, Adicus - Beautiful landscapes and interesting architecture!

Beautiful work. Shot of Orvietto Cathedral is outstanding. We spent a week in Umbria and southern Tuscany in April and it was gorgeous. Already planning my next trip back.
Don't be bothered by the Italian drivers - they get upset with anybody in front of them - not just foreigners. If you want some real driving excitement go to the US Virgin Islands. They drive American right hand drive cars on the British left hand side of the road. Really scary. Actually, wait a couple of years - the Virgin Islands were devastated by the hurricanes this year.
Nice job. Well done.
It sounds like a fantastic trip, beautiful photos!
