Regis, they're all great, but #3 has several elements that really do it for me - fall color, distant mountains with some snow cover, and still water with clear reflections. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

The dusting of snow on the mountain is at about 6000 feet in the bottom #3 photo. This is showing the Coeur d' Alene River where it begins. Great for fly fishermen catching trout. Colors are still changing. No heavy snow yet.

is on the northern edge of the resort lake. The mountain, with a dusting of snow, is about 6000 feet high. Good trout fishing in the river.

Oh, these are such lovely scenes, Regis! I just got back from a trip that included the eastern edge of Idaho but we were ahead of the color. Now I can see how the colors might have been.

Thank you very much, Diane. Your photos are majestic. These photos were taken last Monday along the north Coeur d' Alene River to the edge of the Old Mission Church. But, the weather is getting worse now, so I am glad I went when I did.
