R.I.P. Jimmy Beaumont 1940 - 2017
Anyone who listened to Rhythum&Blues and Doo Wop music in the 50's and 60's knows Jimmy Beaumont. Born in the Knoxville section of Pittsburgh Oct. 7 1940 died in McKeesport P.A. Silky voiced lead singer of the Skyliners. Some of his many hits were, "Since I Don't Have You"(featured in the hit movie American Graffiti) "This I Swear" 1959.
Beaumont's voice was unmistakable back then. Thanks for the video.

RIP Mr. Beaumont, you provided us with many memories.
Very sad that we have lost and are losing all these old doo-woopers! One of the finest musical eras ever IMHO.
Thank you very much for posting this. Beaumont and the other dog-woopers were a major part of my growing up. As I get older, I love to hear the music again and the memories that go with it. RIP Jimmy.

Also a big part of my growing up. Thanks UTMike.
"Since I don't Have You" One of those memories I treasure.
Thanks!
Loved their music.
At the dances, "Since I Don't Have You", was always a "Ladies' Choice".
Thanks for the memories.
