When you stop and think about it, it is amazing that they have such beautiful colors and such an involved pattern of markings - all done with feathers! Very nice series, Jim.

We have one near me and no female... so his mate is a female mallard and they're very happy together!

These Wood ducks are lucky Angela there are loads of female Wood ducks at Martin mere so everyone is happy
