My first year as a Snowbird in Arizona and points south! We stopped off for the balloon fiesta on the way down!
Nice photos, thanks for sharing.
Where in Az are you staying for the winter? I live about 85 miles S of Tucson
Enjoy the "winter" here in AZ. My wife and I left WA (the wetside) last year to live here year round and have not regretted it at all. Yeah, the summers are a bit warm (so is Yakima), but the rest of the year is nice. Lots of great photo opps here, from the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley in the north, to Saguaro Nat'l Park and Sonoran Desert in the south. Your camera won't get bored here and you will find the lack of icy roads a pleasant change come December.
Great assortment of photographs of photographs.

We are staying in Mesa! My wife's son lives in Gilbert!
There is a great park in Gilbert with lots of birds- can't think of the name of it but you can google it.
Enjoy your mild winter in Mesa!
Nice series. The balloons were terrific. you captured some unusual ones. I love the horses, they are so beautiful.
These are really wonderful photos, Dave! I love the one of the horses drinking in the river. And of course the balloons are beautiful and unique!
