More deer including two captures of young Axis bucks; our Axis herds are broken up into about three different sized groups one of which has about 30 deer including 3 young Axis bucks amongst the does and fawns. On this particular day I concentrated on capturing bucks, then as I continued my walk I happened upon some pretty cardinals and was able to capture one male with really vivid colors and of course no photo safari in the wild would be complete with out a close up of natures sanitation engineers but these three must be unionized because they looked to be striking or at least not too eager to get up in the air and start soaring. The Axis deer are the full grown animals with all the pretty spots and they stay that way their whole lives. I hope you enjoy these, please try the downloads.
