Very nice photos Gary thanks for sharing saying hello from Pittsburgh.
Wow! There is a reason this was a $8,000 camera when it was new, you just proved it.
We are bombarded by advertising, that tells us, if it is not the newest, go fast model, you are somehow missing the finer things in life.
It has become almost impossible to stay, State of the art, in consumer electronics and of course cameras.
I believe in build quality. Any of the 1D or 1Ds bodies are built like tanks. I personally like the weight of them. It is my humble opinion that, these 1d to the 1Dx bodies, are built better than anything else Canon has on the market today.
It is a shame, that in our quest to have the fastest, sexiest, coolest, I got bragging rights camera. That we overlook these gems. But then again, we, who know quality when we see it, can buy them for pennies on the dollar.
I will put my old cameras images, up against any new camera that is out there today. And laugh all the way to the bank, when you can't tell them apart.
Two really nice portraits. I love the bokah! LOL
Really fantastic shots, Gary! Well done!
