US, WE, such a big deal... What about 'THEY'??? How about the dreaded, highly offensive, 'I'???
God forbid anyone in this site from using a generic 'us' or 'we'. Dissenting voices will scream bloody murder as to their perceived inclusion.
Sorry folks, 'Us' or 'we' does not meant YOU are included. It means a group of folks think alike or do something together. The inclusion here is not 'YOU' but of the author of the incredibly offending 'We' or 'Us'.
Even more offending is the 'they'. That one is exclusive and not only that for some it is demeaning. 'They' is so depraved it takes 'humanity' out of folks. Good for nothing 'they' how more despicable that can be!
If YOUR skin is so thin as not to be able to understand simple words that have no meaning other than inclusion or exclusion you have no business posting anything, who knows YOU might be the one offending other folks simply by typing 'I', 'Me', 'My' or 'Mine' the ultimate exclusion of everyone else.
This is not an opinion but an observation. You do not like it? Who cares.
LOL What was it that Pogo said? "We have met the enemy and they are us"

But the correct pronoun usage: "We have met the enemy and they are we"
"To be" is special that way.

It’s been 60 years plus since I studied all of that (nouns pronouns verbs adverbs), so I’ll have to take your word it. I only know that when Pogo said it, it was cool.
