My prior complaints about not having time to get out and sightsee were somewhat addressed today, as I was able to get out for a short while during lunch today.
These are pretty much the equivalent of "street photography," as they were just grab-and-go photographs.
Thanks, @flyguy. I took my iPad out with me. I haven't used its camera in several years, so getting used to it (and the sun/reflection off the screen) took a bit of effort.
Truth be known, I had no idea if or how the photos turned out. I'm just shutter-happy at this point...
Is the first one of of old ironsides?
Time well spent. It resulted in a very interesting and appealing series!

No. The name on the bow is "Wavertree." According to Wikipedia, "Wavertree is a historic iron-hulled sailing ship built in 1885. Now the largest iron sailing vessel afloat, it is located at the South Street Seaport in New York City." Since it's an iron-hulled ship, I guess in a way it's an "old ironsides."

Thank you. I'm don't usually engage in random photography, but I rarely get a chance to visit New York City, much less get out and about. So this was simply and opportunity I didn't want to pass up.

Old Ironsides is in Boston harbor. They take it away from the dock and turn it around every year. A chance to see it in motion, if you are lucky enough to be there, I was ONCE! No camera! That was before cell phones.
