Hello John, it's always nice to see you on the Hog, and I appreciate your kind comments. There used to be a Trader Vic's in Oakland many long years ago; I don't remember the outside, but the inside was very South Pacific. My best wishes also to you and your family, my friend.

Next time I drive to the Monterey area I will check to see if the ladder is still there. I don't think I want to ring the bell, as I don't do to others what I don't want them to do to me
