A quick visit to New Mexico to visit our granddaughter who is at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
While there we went to White Sands National Monument. An amazing place with all the white gypsum sand.
The sand is so fine that people slide down the dunes on snow saucers as if they were on a snow covered hill.
Amazingly even in the hot desert sun the sand is cool to the touch. No problem walking on it in bare feet.
Very appealing set of images.

Thank you. The last one is my favourite also. It was probably the last shot of the day as we were leaving. Just a quick snap of the kids on the dune turned out decent.
