Madame P's iBall

Madame P is a master scryer, and can often be found using one or both of her crystal iBalls to 'see' into the future. She's been working hard to find a trace of our catnapped Eisenheim the Magnificent, and says she's done exactly that.

I love staring into her beautiful iBalls, and do so every chance I get. She knows I like to look and offered me a quick glimpse of what the ether showed her.

I tried to focus, but couldn't see much more than a hazy image, tho the terror in Eisenheim TM's eyes was clear enough (I'll mention here that I've tried Microsoft's new Surface Ball, with its impressive Crystal Ball 3.0 software. It's faster and a lot cheaper, and now comes with a 4K display crystal. But she says the iBall is more intuitive and has a better user interface, and the Retina display is more than adequate. She's an Apple fanboy, so there's no point in arguing, and I have to admit her iBalls are really nice...).

But as I was saying, Madame P--far more experienced at interpreting such visions--says she now knows exactly where Eisenheim is being held, and who's holding him!

The Ministry staff has accordingly made the move wholesale from Planning to Operations, across the way, and the lights are burning bright over there. I can't give any details, as the Martian told me the floors in Planning needed mopping, and left me to it. As soon as I'm finished here, I'll dash over there and find out what's happening...

Nice effect!!

Tippit's been talking to The Martian, and she's sending help for the rescue mission. Eisenheim TM will be happy to hear that..

Wonderful storytelling Randy and i should imagine that Madame P's iballs are absolutely beautiful and she can peer into the future and indeed the present day to see where Eisenheim is being held.My great Aunt Rubena was a fortune teller, true, and lots of her prophecies came to pass and before you scoff this is a true story as well, der der der dah.

I have a feeling the ministry has its own version of Navy Seals and this is going to turn out to be a great rescue.

I must have miss-read this. I think you implied that MP has 2 balls. Is she contemplating something? Will we have to call her(?) LGBT p? While I have nothing but respect for those folks, Iwould hope that MP stays as she is as P town is a long drive and the commute will be punishing. OH!!! I just realized that I did miss read the latest installment. You said IBall (pronounced Eye-Ball).My sincerest apology. Maybe you can hire an assistant to do the floors. I am available, but very expensive. I have a friend who installs central vac/mops to make the task easier, but he is really expensive as he must pay my commission and the outrageous price for the gear. He uses the mark 2 Dmop with the new 450MB (Mega Bristle) model that was just released. I understand it just got a world record review. The only one to score a 100. Pleas feel free to call my agent or e-mail me at greedy.com. The photo is very creative. The saga continues

Thanks, Ron. The more help, the better! Madame P apparently knows the who and the where, but I'm out of the loop on this and in the dark, stuck with the floors here in Planning. But just wait till I go thru the trash over in Operations, and you can bet I'll get the scoop!!!

Thanks as always for the fun comments and visit, always much appreciated!

Thanks, Angler. Best-looking iBalls I've ever gazed into! She does spend time doing fortunes at the local fairs, and her weather forecasts are amazingly accurate!

Maybe she and your great aunt have crossed paths and traded prophecies at some point...

Thanks for your kind comments and visit, always grateful!

Thanks, Bill. Sorry the image is so hazy, but only someone adept at scrying can get a clear view. I'm a lot better at it than I used to be, as I've spent considerable time gazing into Madame P's iBalls. I can at least see something once she gets them warmed up, but in this case, not enough to identify the cloudy figure threatening Eisenstein the Magnificent.

Hope you're enjoying the story, and thanks for your positive comments and visit. They're always much appreciated!

Thanks, Carol. Being stuck mopping the floors in Planning, I'm in the dark as to what's going on in Operations. But from all evidence, Madame P has identified the culprits and found Eisenheim's location. Since they've left me alone over here, I'm pretty sure they've decided what to do and the rescue attempt has begun.

Soon as I finish the floors over her, I'll be heading to Operations myself and get the scoop...

Thanks for the kind words and visit, always much appreciated!

Thanks, Pierre. Volunteers from all over have been streaming into the Ministry of Mayhem, all asking to be part of rescue team that will go after Eisenheim TM and his abductors. The Martian has made a point of thanking each and every one, but he already has his team assembled. Operational security of course prevents me from saying much, but I'll note that the team's progress is being monitored closely, and we have every reason to expect success. Probably.

Thanks for stopping by and the kind words, they're always very much appreciated!

Thanks, Bob. Madame P does indeed have a lovely pair of iBalls, and they're definitely worth gazing into. However, neither Madame P nor her iBalls are here at the moment, but due to Ministry of Mayhem operational security, I can't say much more than that.

I'd dearly love to have an assistant help with my mopping, but given the Ministry's pay scale, any prospect of that is grim. Grossly unfair, if you ask me, especially given the gate at the hamster fights. But what can you do, the job has its perks. ; )

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, always very much appreciated!

Thanks, Bob. I know a lot of folks will tout Microsoft and Crystal Ball 3.0 as superior, but I have to be honest--once I'd seen Madame P's iBalls, I knew right away which I'd prefer to gaze into.

Thanks for the smile and visit, always much appreciated!
