I bet she is going to be beautiful when she grows up and fills out a bit. Very kind of you to keep an eye out for her. I hope it works out because you may just end up with a new companion.

thanks firtree. either way I will not see her hungry or neglected

You are a great person for taking care of this poor animal. You might want to take him to a shelter or local vet and see if he has a microchip so you can contact the owner if there is one. It takes a few seconds to scan for one and it should be a free service

It was karma. Any dog that is that neglected is not going to have an owner show up. If you take it to the vet, it might have a chip and you can be assured that it is healthy. I think it was meant to be your dog.

You have a great opportunity to help the poor puppy. We have a rescue dog for a month and he really loves us. Our Golden was found starving, half blind and he couldn’t hear very well. His nails had curled up and coat in terrible shape. You can’t believe what he looks like now; a different dog. ...we are getting his eyes treated and his eye sight is improving. It is very very
rewarding! /George
